These eggs are stored in the door of a fridge. Often in a specially designed egg trays that fit in the door.

The door opens and closes regularly, causing continuous temperature variations, which makes it a poor choice for egg storage. There is also a greater risk of damage and agitating the contents by the shocks of opening and closing the door.

It is best to put the eggs, in their box, on a fixed shelf in the fridge. A cardboard box will protect them from damage and prevents absorption of odours from strong smelling foods.
